WELCOME TO ALL ANIMAL LOVERS

WELCOME TO ALL ANIMAL LOVERS

With this Blog I hope to share what I believe to be good information concerning dogs. I am also passionate about promoting Animal Adoptions from Shelters/Rescue Centers. There are hundreds of thousands of great pets that are desperate for a new home. If not so many of these precious animals will be destroyed needlessly. If you are not able to adopt at this time, please donate to your local Shelter. At the moment I have been very busy trying to get a new website up and running, so unfortunately that is taking up alot of my time. I have been posting some of the Articles I have written, but that is about it. In the near future I will be posting more information. I am in the process of looking for good dog information sites to link on my website. If you happen to come across a great website, article, etc concerning dogs and would like a place to share them, please let me. I will post them on this Blog and try to do a link swap with the site. I would really appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks for visiting and Have A Great Day!!

Products Necessary For Crate Training Your Pet

When you bring home that new addition to your family you will need to have a "den haven" for your pet. Not only will this be his/her "den haven", it will keep your home from being destroyed during the early puppy chewing stage and house breaking period. In the next article you will be given all the information you will need to learn the concept of Crate Training your new pet and why it is so important.. Here we will show you the products that are necessary to accomplish this technique successfully.

Midwest Dog Crate
The first and most important item is a Midwest Dog Crate. There are many brands of Dog Crates out there, but the Midwest Dog Crate is the one I prefer because I feel it is a high quality product. When you are choosing a dog crate for your pet it is very important that you purchase the proper size crate. As a rule of thumb, your pet should be able to comfortably stand up and turn around in their crate. Make sure the crate is not too large for your pet. If you have a new puppy that will grow into a large adult, the Midwest Dog Crate comes with a divider panel. This is a great feature for you because you can use this divider panel to adjust the size of the crate as your dog grows. This way you only need to purchase one dog crate for the life of your dog.

Midwest Dog Crate & Pet Dreams Cratewear Set

Crate Bed & Bumper Pad
The next item that you will need is a Pet Dreams Cratewear Set. This includes a Crate Bed, Crate Cover, and a Bumper Pad. This helps you create the den-like atmosphere that your pet requires to feel safe and secure (this will be explained in the Crate Training Article). The Crate Bed in this set is a wonderful product for a puppy owner because they are completely washable and dryable. We all know puppies will have accidents during the training process and this has to be expected. However, what an ease for you to just throw the bed into the washer, dryer, and back into the crate. You might be thinking "What do I need a bumper pad for?" Let me explain. A crate bumper pad acts as a protector for your puppy's legs just like a bumper pad does for a baby in their cribs. There are many injuries every year with puppies hurting themselves in their crates. A puppy reacts in fear when he/she gets stuck and could end up causing sever damage to themselves. I have spoken to my Vet about these pads, and he thinks they are a great idea. He has seen many cases of leg damage to puppies in his practice because of this.

Basically, these 2 products are all you will need to begin Crate Training your new pet. There are many products out there to choose from, but these are the products I choose. I always look for the highest quality and the most humane products available. So your next step is to learn the technique of Crate Training. Please always remember to be patient with your puppy during this period. They are basically just like a very young child and need to be taught what is expected of them. So, please take it slow, and I wish you and your new pup well!!

Important Pet Supplies For Your New Dog

Getting a new dog is an exciting time for everyone in a household, however it is important to be properly supplied before your new canine family member settles in. You must invest is several items which are important for a dog’s life including pet safe cleaning supplies, a dog bed, a dog crate, food and a pet door.

For a dog bed, there are different options which can be used to secure your new dog’s comfort. Dog beds come in all sizes, comforts and colors depending on size of your new pet; they can range from $10 - $70. If your new dog is older, you may need a orthopedic dog bed which provides comfort to orthopedic pet problems. Orthopedic dog beds have memory foam technology which allows for a softer pet bed, better for orthopedic pet problems and is higher off the ground for comfort. These average around $99 in store on online retail.

The next essential is a Midwest Dog Crate, which serves as your new pet’s sleeping den. These dog crates also come in a variety of sizes as well as the crate beds (or orthopedic pet bed) to be placed inside. This way, the dog can understand that this is his “safe place” or his “den”, where he will spend his sleeping time. Crate-training is an essential element to house training, and can be referenced online in several guides.

If you live in a home with a yard, a dog door is something you may wish to consider. A dog door allows your dog or cat to enter and exit the house at their leisure. This way, the dog door can serve as a solution to pet bathroom problems and give you more freedom. A Petsafe Dog Door is essential as it is made for pets and will not harm your dog; the average cost for such dog doors is $59-103.

Pet safe cleaning supplies will always come in handy if your new canine friends needs a bath or has had an accident on the carpet. Invest in pet safe cleaning supplies such as carpet cleaner or pet shampoo.

Last but not least, Pet food is an essential item for your new dog. Sometimes, new dogs have been raised on one type of food and may not want to eat another. It is very important to find out what food the dog has been fed prior to you adopting him/her. You should continue to feed your new pet the same food. Switching a dogs food can cause digestive problems, so if you must do it gradually.

Remember, pet safe supplies such as a dog bed, dog crate, food, cleaning supplies and pet safe dog door are just the most important new tools you will need. For these quality products and information to assist you with your new pet, visit Busters Canine Supply Outlet.

What Are The Benefits Of A Midwest Dog Crate

What Are The Benefits Of A Midwest Dog Crate

This is a good Article on the benefits, uses, and quality of Midwest Dog Crates. If you are looking for a Crate for your pet, please read this. It is very informative.

If you are reading this I am guessing you have a dog or new puppy and are in need of a Dog Crate. It must be very confusing with all the products out there to make sure you get the best for your pet. In my humble opinion I feel the Midwest Dog Crate is one of the finest out there. Why you ask? It is a very well made and good quality dog crate. Also, you will find a variety of styles and sizes to meet your needs.

If you have a puppy it is a great way to help housebreak your pet. With the Midwest Dog Crate you can buy the correct size dog crate you will need for your pet when he is full grown, and adjust the size to accommodate your puppy as he grows with a divider panel. The benefit of this is you only need to purchase one dog crate. You may have a puppy that is a large breed such as a Newfoundland or Great Dane, or maybe you have a small breed like a Yorkshire Terrier or Toy Poodle. Whatever the size, weight, or breed of your animal, a Midwest Dog Crate can accommodate your needs.

Not only is the size of the Dog Crate important but the strength of the Dog Crate is also important for different breeds. The Midwest Dog Crates come in a variety of wire thickness and placement to create a strong, durable, and safe design. They have rounded corners for your pets protection. All styles are easy to set up and many come in a fold and carry configuration. Another fine feature you can choose from is the door placement or the amount of doors you want on your crate. You have the choice of a single door, double door, or even a triple door crate. Each of these doors comes with a safe and secure slide latch bolt to make sure the door stays closed.

Now that I have stated why I feel the Midwest Dog Crate is one of the finest made, let me offer a few benefits of using one.
1. Crate Training is a great technique for housebreaking your new puppy.
2. Crate Training is a great technique for saving your house from being
   destroyed by a destructive puppy.
3. With a Midwest Dog Crate you can create the den-like atmosphere that your   pet requires to feel safe and secure.
4. Most Midwest Dog Crates come in a Fold and Carry configuration which requires no tools for setting it up. This makes it easy to move from room to room.
5. Most crates come with a divider panel which allows you to adjust the
length of the pets living area as your puppy grows into adult size.
6. All Midwest Dog Crates with the exception of the Large Breed Crate (sold separately)come with the plastic pan for the bottom of the crate.

If you are planning to purchase your new Midwest Crate online, make sure you shop around. Prices can vary. Also, watch out for "Free Shipping" offers. I have found that most (not all) "Free Shipping" is not so. The cost of shipping is actually added to the cost of the Crate, so do some comparison shopping before you make your purchase.

Crate Training Information and Products to Accomplish it Successfully

I am a big believer in Crate Training. Crate Training is a wonderful technique to use to housebreak your new puppy. The days of rubbing your poor puppy's nose in the accident he made on your carpet are hopefully long gone. Please don't use this method. It does not housebreak your pet!! Using the Crate method is easy for you as well as your pet. It also can create the den like atmosphere that your pet requires to feel safe and secure. A crate should be your pets sanctuary. It should never, never be used to punish your pet. Children should also be taught to respect your pets crate. Don't let your child play in the crate or bother the pet when he is in the crate. A crate is not meant to be a place to keep your pet in all day. As your puppy gets a bit older he needs to play and release some energy. A pet that is couped up all day will no doubt be a crazy, rambunctious menace when he is let out. He needs to release energy, so please don't keep him locked up all day. Play with them, love them, make them part of your family. If you don't, why did you get a pet in the first place? Right??

Crate Training is a great tool for raising your puppy into the well adjusted adult dog we all want, but he also needs to be taught manners and obedience as well. I don't want you to think all you have to do is buy a crate and presto you have a wonder dog! A puppy is a big commitment just like having a child. Remember depending on the breed, your dog will be with you 9 to 15 years. The more time and effort, love, and training you give your pet equals the better chance you will have a well adjusted great dog.

At Busters Canine Supply Outlet we have information on how to successfully Crate Train your pet. We have all the products to help you create the den like atmosphere he needs. The first item you will need is a good crate. We have many styles and many sizes of the Midwest Dog Crates. To create the den atmosphere for your pet we have Pet Dreams Cratewear Sets which fit all of our crate styles and sizes. (Set includes dog bed, bumper pad, and crate cover). You are probably thinking, why does my dog need a bumper pad? Many times puppies have gotten their legs caught or stuck in the slats of the crate. (Just like a baby in a crib) The puppy panics and ends up hurting himself. Why let that happen if we can prevent it. Really, that is all you will need to get started. As always, if you have any questions or suggestions please contact us. We would love to hear from you so come and visit us at: Busters Canine Supply Outlet
